Our Nursing Team
Jenny joined EVR in May 2024 taking over the reins as Head RVN. Jenny qualified as an RVN in 2003, and has worked locally her whole career. She is kept busy at home with three children and two furbabies; Bertie, a Boston Terrier and Ernie, a (very naughty!) British Bulldog. Jenny loves the challenge of referral practice, and the opportunity to develop advanced nursing skills.
Kate qualified as an RVN in 2016, and has been working in the veterinary industry since she was 17, working locally within Kent for much of her career. At home she has two children that keep her busy, and two adorable cats called Florence and Oreo. Kate joined EVR as an experienced veterinary nurse in June 2024.
Selina has been working in the veterinary industry for 36 years and has been a qualified RVN for eight. She has a keen interest in geriatric nursing and all things feline, from which she gained her ISFM certificate in Feline Nursing. Selina has two Birman cats called Meena and Bailey. In her free time Selina enjoys reading and going for countryside walks. Selina joined EVR in February 2025.
Reece graduated from Middlesex University in June 2024 and joined the EVR team that summer. He has a particular interest in anaesthesia, and enjoys working with our highly skilled vet and nurse team and developing his skills and knowledge. Reece and his family own a Bulldog named Lola. and Reece himself has a cat called Jinx who rarely leaves his side.
Kathryn joined the EVR Nursing Team in February 2026. Kathryn joins us with a background in veterinary hospital nursing, starting out on reception and moving on to an ANA role, Student VN and then RVN. She has a keen interest in anaesthesia and patient specific nursing. At home she has a young family to care for, as well as her dog Rolo, an 11 year old Cross Breed.
April qualified as an RVN in 2017 and worked in First Opinion (GP) practice enjoying anaesthesia and dentistry. She took a brief gap in her vet nursing journey to work as a microbiologist for two years and then welcomed her daughter into the world, before joining EVR in April 2026. She currently doesn't have any pets but would love a dog to join her madhouse. In her spare time April enjoys adventures with her family such as kayaking, cycling and going on walks.
Emily joined EVR as a part time ANA in February 2024, having previously completed an NVQ Level 2 in Animal Care. In her spare time Emily loves to play tennis, and she brings a wealth of animal experience, as she enjoys horse riding and owns an adorable French Bulldog called Rio. Lovely walks with Rio are one of her favourite pastimes. Emily is a calm and reassuring presence within the nursing team, and she offers compassion and empathy to all our patients.
Our Admin Team
Katherine joined the clinic as Practice Manager in 2017 having had an extensive teaching career in London. Katherine brings a wealth of experience to the EVR team and ensures the smooth running of the business. Katherine loves to travel in her spare time and has undertaken trips to South Africa and USA in recent times. At home she has two dogs: Arlo a Cockerpoo and Raphy, a Cocker Spaniel.
Debbie originally joined the clinic as an RVN in 2013 and was appointed Head RVN in 2018 and achieved the Nurse Certificate in Anaesthesia in 2019. However, two days a week you will find her on reception, responsible for arranging referral appointments and taking care of clients when they arrive. Outside of work, Becky is learning the piano, and has a teenage daughter and husband as well as an adorable cat called Alex.
With a background in languages and education, we are delighted to have Sonia on the team. Her previous experience at Eurotunnel Le Shuttle as well as teaching enables her to be the friendly and welcoming face of EVR. Sonia has been involved with fostering dogs over many years, and currently has two permanent guests, Tempah and Buddy.
Our Pets
Milo hasn't ever quite grown into his legs. He is an expert chewer and will lick any unguarded elbows.
Roux joined the EVR team in June 2024, and soon carved a niche for himself stealing shoes! He loves to run and lives for his Dentastix.
Pchelek loves nothing more than laying upside down on the sofa, or in office doorways.
Tempah and Buddy are regular reception attendees, with Tempah keeping a keen eye on customer service from below the desk.
Sirius is the self-appointed staff welfare dog; feeling sad or having a bad day? Sirius is here with heart-melting eyes and a lovely cuddle.
Evie is a young Labrador and she loves to dig. Her favourite game is zoomies around the garden, and she lives to eat. Never a dull moment.
Arlo is an extremely active and ball-obsessed Cockerpoo, devoted to his humans.
Raphy loves his enthusiastic zoomies and equally loves relaxed grooming. He enjoys long walks and, of course, water.
